This is a very rare and hard to find piece of work in paperback, and Oriental Publishing has now made this book available, in eBook format, for keen readers on the history of Afghanistan. This was written by Neamat Ullah, who was the historiographer at the Court of Jahangir between 1609 and 1611, during the Mughal Empire of India. Originally written in Persian, it was then translated into English by Bernhard Dorn. This book covers the history of the Afghan's, from their very beginning, until the 16th century. It is quite a controversial piece of work, since it claims that the Pashtun people have Biblical Israelite origins. This is a must have for those interested and studying the history of the people of this region.
